About the Filmmaker

Tiffany Toney is an award-winning actress, filmmaker, and author reshaping independent cinema. With roots spanning Honolulu, Texas, and Los Angeles, her boundary-breaking work challenges convention and amplifies overlooked voices. Her debut feature film BORA earned her a spotlight during Sundance, Essence Film Festival, and lead her to speak at Afro-Cannes in the French Riviera. She wrote and directed the film to green light the acting career of herself and so many of her peers. BORA is the voice of the culture and a bridge between intellect and social awareness. Tiffany continues to champion fearless storytelling and emerging talent. Written, directed, and starring in BORA, she proves that independent vision can move the world. She shares the details of how this spirit-led journey came to be, in her self authored book "The Intuitive Creator".
